Food Writing

As a writer, Elizabeth is intensely curious about how our pasts shape our present-day reality, and her food writing often connects memories of her childhood kitchen with her adult one.  Elizabeth sees food as a reflection of time and place, and marvels at its ability to cut across boundaries and unite human beings.  She writes a food memoir column for Edible Santa Fe (a member of the Edible Communities, which won the 2011 James Beard Foundation Publication of the Year) and was a regular contributor to their blog, where she chronicled her yearlong experience of bringing her family “back to the table.”
